The United States Postal aid has definite requirements for all residential curbside mail boxes. The Usps Domestic Mail by hand sets forth regulations and rules about residential curbside mailboxes. The by hand describes the standards for letterboxes and other mail receptacles for the deposit or receipt of mail.
Residential Mailboxes A residential mailbox is any curbside or wall-mounted receptacle which is used for the purpose of receiving material in which postage is paid.
Room Heater Diagram
Who Can Use A Mailbox Only authorized letter carriers may place mail or packages into the mail receptacle. No part of the mail receptacle may be used to deliver whatever that does not include postage. This includes items attached to the box, hung from the box or inserted into the mail box. Any mailable material not displaying postage and found in the mailbox is branch to the same estimate of postage as if it were carried by a mail carrier.
Usps Mailbox Requirements
Exclusions from Usps Rules Door slots and other non-lockable bins used with apartment mailboxes are branch to the same regulations as a curbside mailbox. Just keep in mind that a mail slot should be large adequate to adapt the type of mail the homeowner receives. If the mail slot is not large enough, then the mail carrier will cease delivering mail to the residence.
Curbside Mailboxes All homeowners must keep the area nearby their mailboxes clear of whatever than will obstruct the safe delivery of mail. If the United States Postal aid employee cannot safely reach in and deliver the mail, the postmaster may withdraw delivery to that mailbox.
Any curbside mailbox which is to be installed at the edge of the roadway or curbside of the street and allows it to be served by a mail carrier from a vehicle on any city route, rural route or highway must be beloved by the United States Postal Service.
Every curbside mailbox should display the homeowner's name and address assigned by the local authorities on the flag side of the mailbox. The numbers and letters must be at least one inch high and in a contrasting color in neat, legible letters. If the boxes are grouped and the address cannot be settled on the flag side of the mailbox, then the house estimate should be inscribed on the door. No advertising of any kind can be settled on the mailbox or the mailbox post.
Mailbox Sizes There are regulations about curbside mailboxes. A curbside mailbox can be one of three size for residential mail: small T1 (C1) size is roughly 5 inches wide by 6 inches tall and 18 ½ inches long, Medium T2 (C2) size is roughly 6 inches wide by 7 inches tall by 19 inches long, and the Large T3 (C3) size is roughly 8 inches wide by 11 ½ inches tall by 22 ½ inches long. The "T" stands for primary and the "C" stands for Contemporary. The dimensions reflect the minimum interior size.
Lockable Mailboxes A locking curbside mail box will help to deter most thieves from stealing your mail. Many residential mailboxes are available with a built-in locking mechanism. If your mailbox is not qualified with a lock, you can buy one from some online sources. Locks are critical for deterring thieves and are highly prominent when the homeowner is away for some days and unable to retrieve the mail. Also note that the U.S. Postal aid will not open locked boxes nor will they accept a key for that purpose. Locks can be installed on both post and wall mounted mailboxes. When installing a lock on an existing mailbox, make sure your mailbox is strong adequate to withstand an attack. Lockable mailboxes should be large adequate so that if the homeowner is away for some days, it can adapt the overflow of mail.
Novelty Mailboxes Novelty mailboxes are mailboxes that have been dressed up or decorated in some fashion. The same rules and regulations apply to novelty mailboxes as do pre-approved and custom-built mailboxes.
Where to Place A Residential Curbside Mailbox All curbside mailboxes must be settled in a safe and favorable place. The box must be on the right-hand side of the road in the direction of travel of the mail carrier's normal route. The box should not be settled where it places the mail carrier in a risky situation or drive on the incorrect side of the road or violate any traffic laws.
The curbside mailbox post should be positioned 6-8 inches from the curb and roughly 42-46 inches high measured from the lawn to the top of the installed curbside mailbox, not the top of the post. If the post has a vertical arm, the arm should not expand any closer than 6 inches from the curb. When installing your new set, make sure your set complies with these regulations.
Wall Mount Mailboxes The Usps does not have rules or regulations for wall mount mailboxes, however, you should tip off your local mail carrier before premise to ensure permissible placement of the mailbox and check for any local codes or regulations governing placement of the mailbox. The goods should control absolutely and nothing should obstruct the chance and conclusion of the lid. Also check with your home owners relationship to see if they have any rules or requirements which you need to comply with.
Building Your Own Mailbox All practice built curbside mailboxes must meet the same standards as beloved mailboxes. practice built mailboxes should have a flag on the outside, strength, durableness and capability should be comparable to beloved mailboxes.
Be cautious when construction your own mailbox and post. roughly 100 motorists are killed each year in collisions with curbside mailboxes. Some posts are mounted in concrete or constructed of indestructible materials. In a collision, a motor vehicle can be severely damaged and its occupants injured or killed.
Mailbox Post Mailbox posts should be neat and made of material that can adequately sustain the mailbox. The mailbox post may not laid out effigies or caricatures that can disparage or ridicule anyone. The mailbox can be attached to a fixed or portable arm.

The main electrical panel, commonly referred to as a "breaker box" is the heart of your home's electrical system. It is an significant gadget in the modern world, and one of the most foremost security mechanisms that can be found in your house.
Your household's electricity is sent to your home from the utility business whether through overhead power lines, hidden conduits, or a mixture of both. After passing through your home's galvanic meter, the vigor is then sent to the main electrical panel to be distributed throughout the house. The main panel is your dwelling's power distribution center, providing electricity to outlets, light fixtures, and appliances throughout the house.
Room Heater Diagram
Electrical assistance panels are artificial in varied types, sizes, and configurations. The main panel may be mounted on the surface of the construction or, alternatively and more commonly, located inside the building, providing easier passage and better security.
Anatomy of a Circuit Breaker Box
The main panel receives electricity through 3 main incoming cables and then routes this power to many smaller wires which create circuits throughout the entire house. The mean breaker panel consists of 2 main "buss bars" which control power for the entire building. The main breakers draw electricity from the incoming vigor source and exchange it to these 2 main buss bars. Sequentially, these 2 buss bars pass the electricity along to all the secondary breakers. The secondary breakers each control isolate aspects of the house. For example, one may control the electricity flow to a singular room of the house, such as the kitchen, while an additional one may control the power flow to the dwelling's air conditioning unit.
Larger beakers found in buildings with a higher capacity may divert power to sub-panels. These sub-panels will have its own set of breakers, used to control a definite aspect of the house.
A ground wire (usually copper) is all the time installed with the construction main assistance panel for security reasons. This metal wire runs from the neutral connector located within the panel, to a metal rod driven into the ground.
Every home's main electrical panel contains a mechanical switch for each of the circuits contained within the residence. These switches allow the circuit to be purposefully broken temporarily, thereby cutting power to that aspect of the home. These are used when assistance or repairs must be performed to electrical aspects of the building. Also, these switches may be "tripped" automatically due to a failure in the circuit, such as a power overload. This is to prevent damage to the electrical system, as well as to the building, such as an electrical fire.
The maximum power amperage capacity for your home is printed on the main breaker. Most residences have a 100-amp capacity, which is enough enough for all vigor needs in the household. However, some newer homes are being built with a 200-amp capacity, ensuring enough vigor capability into the future. Some older homes may be found with a 60-amp capacity or lower. This amperage is now determined insufficient for modern household needs and these homes should have an electrical upgrade for security reasons.

pocket rocket heater stove Video Clips. Duration : 9.45 Mins.
Pocket rocket stove. I got this idea from the rocketstoves.com website as an excerpt of Ianto Evans' rocket mass heater book. The book version is slightly different, but as you can see this version works quite well. It's a 5 gallon metal bucket with stovepipe through the lid. An 18" section goes down into the bucket for the feed tube, and two 24" sections go up for the chimney. It gets VERY hot, burns wood fast and clean, and radiates an absurd amount of heat.
Antique wood stoves supply embellishment and can still be used for heating and cooking. Stoves from as long ago as the 1870's are ready for purchase in old stores and over the Internet. old wood stoves are collector's items that are very primary to some people. They are also great additions to restored homes, hotels, or museums.
There are many different types of old wood stoves available. Some of the most popular types are Victorian models and pot bellied stoves.
Room Heater Diagram
Victorian wood stoves are made of cast iron and highlight a wood-burning oven. They were often used for cooking and were ordinarily kept in the kitchen. They are often large and rectangular; some have shelves and ledges above the oven that are used for storage. Victorian wood stoves are often elaborately decorated, with silver and gold inlays complimenting the iron body.
The Value of antique Wood Stoves
Pot belly wood stoves are shorter, squatter and smaller, and can be distinguished by their barrel-shaped body. Pot belly stoves have a round oven in the center of the body. These stoves are ordinarily less justify than Victorian stoves, but they are still decorated with engravings and designs.
Many old wood stoves are still in working order. Population often use these stoves to cook food or heat their homes. The basic designs of most types of wood stoves have not been changed much over the last century, so Population who use old wood stoves are not giving up any type of modern convenience.
Antique wood stoves look great in hotels with a historic décor. Many tourist attractions such as museums and old restored homes have old wood stoves on display.
Antique wood stoves are primary for some reasons. They are rare, manufacture them collector's items. Most of them are still functional and they can add authenticity to historically themed hotels and tourist spots.

One of the most confusing aspects of homebuilding can be the
rough opening for an overhead carport door. It is one of the
most frequent questions I am asked.
The rough opening for a carport door, naturally put, is the
actual size of the door itself. For example, if the garage
door is a 7'0" x 16'0", then that is the size the rough
opening should be framed to. This is also what the opening
in the foundation should be. The studs and cripples will
then stop right at the edge of the foundation.
Room Heater Diagram
The foundation ordinarily drops 8" to allow the concrete floor
to be poured over the top of it. This has to be accounted
for when figuring the distance of the cripples to get the
right height of the overhead door header. ordinarily the
floor is poured 3" below the top of the foundation wall. If
the overhead door is 7' then 4 and 1/2" is subtracted from
that height. This is the 3" drop and 1 1/2" for the bottom
plate. Your total cripple distance would be 6' 7 1/2".

Once the floor is poured, the door jambs can be installed.
The width of these jamb pieces vary with the size of the
wall and what the wall is closed with (brick, siding,
dryvit, etc). The header piece is installed first, then the
two side pieces. These go from the header to the finished
concrete floor. Once the jambs are in the door can be
installed. With the door installed the door stops are then
put on whether with or without weatherstripping.
If you know the door size of your overhead door, you know
the rough opening. From there its determining where to start
and stop your framing.

You've researched and purchased a water softener, the next step is to learn how to setup a water softener. In order to be sure that the motor that you've spent your time researching and money purchasing works properly, you must know how to setup it properly.
Your water softener should have come with premise instructions and these will be foremost to pay concentration to. Each water softener will have their own specifics when it comes to their actual installation, but there are several aspects of water softener premise that are base to all types.
Room Heater Diagram
The location that you pick for your water softener should be given much consideration. If the tank is kept indoors it is very foremost that it be kept in a dry area that does not have much fluctuation in temperatures. If the water softener that you've chosen is two tanks be sure that two are close together and the brine tank is the one that is most accessible.

That is the one that you will need to refill so you'll be able to get to it when necessary. If your tank will be installed outdoors it will need to be placed in an area that is away from the direct sunlight. Many tanks can be purchased with a jacket that will safe the unit from the sunlight and other inclement weather.
In expanding to the electricity outlet location, which needs to be less than 50 feet from the water softener unit, you will also need to have a drain in the vicinity that is at least 1 1/2 inches in diameter. You may use tubing to increase to a drain that is slightly out of the way. You may pick flexible tubing or a more rigid Pvc tube. Either one should increase to the drain so that the backwash will be directed to that drain and not elsewhere.
If your media is not installed in your tank prior to installation, you will have to do this step as well. The way you setup this will depend upon the size of your tank and Either or not your tank has a turbulator. A larger tank of 64,000 grains or a tank that does not have a turbulator will want a gravel underbed.
Once the gravel is in place you will be able to corollary the directions and setup the media in the tank. Following this you will be able to setup the bypass valve and then the inlet outlet water connections according to the included instructions.
The next step in the water softener premise process will be to take the brine tubing and join together the water softener control valve and the brine tank. Once this tubing is in place you can join together the brine tank overflow. You can do this by attaching the 5/8'' tubing from the brine tank and run it to the drain.
Then you need to program the control that will be responsible for softening the water correctly. Run the backwash cycle and look for leaks and tighten any loose fittings. Watch the tank as it runs straight through a cycle of water to be sure that all things works correctly.
The preceding instructions are very normal and should only be applied in aggregate with the instructions that have come with your unit. Studying how to setup a water softener doesn't have to be difficult. In no time you'll have a working unit and will not have to deal with the cost or hassles of having man else setup your unit.

The relay between the air handler control unit and the blower motor is called a fan or heat relay. If the thermostat fan setting is "on" then the relays do nothing but keep the fan running. Otherwise, when the air handler controller asks for heating or cooling the relay switches the fan on.
The relay allows the fan a short delay to spool up before it starts heating or cooling. This increases efficiency by allowing th blower to push already conditioned air in the ducts straight through before additional heating or cooling takes place. Instead of that air being wasted in the handler it is used for cooling your house.
Room Heater Diagram
Cool evaporator coils work best, so when the cooling cycle starts you will be operating at maximum efficiency. The cool coils can dispell more heat, agreeing to Denver air conditioning services. Some controls use a fan limit switch to set when the unit turns on or off. The fan limit switch is used on furnaces where the fan control circuit is mounted on the heat exchanger.

The fan limit switch on these gas and oil furnaces energizes the fan when the heat exchanger reaches a distinct temperature. For most thermostats, the white wire runs to the fan limit switch. It acts as a security device, because if the burner gets too hot, the white wire will shut it off and keep the fan running to dissipate heat.
The heating relay is isolate from the fan relay. The control board has some security switches before it goes to the furnace to keep it from overheating. Electrical heaters should have a thermal security fuse installed by a Denver furnace repair business that will physically melt and break the electrical relationship if the furnace gets too hot.
Because furnaces are so dangerous, they have numerous fail safe controls, some of which may be manual reset. This means it will stop your house from burning down, but you may have to call a Denver Hvac technician to come reset the fuses. If the switch was tripped for no apparent reason, ask the technician which switch was tripped so that you will know where the problem is if it happens again. Most fuse and breaker switches can be substituted at a minimum cost.

My wife Catrin and I love the solar hot water heater we installed in February of 2007. It has given us reliable service and very hot water. I've told growing numbers of people about the virtues of using solar energy to heat hot water as the easiest way of reducing our need for fossil fuels. The thought struck me that it would help for people to see how painless the installation process was and how little space the solar panel collector consumes on the roof. The solar hot water heater installation reduced our monthly utility bill by 25%. What kind of investment is a solar hot water heater? A comparable solar hot water heater system on most any home with decent southern exposure and 2 adults using hot water would cost approximately 00. With tax incentives currently available, our return on investment (ROI) period will be about 7 years but of course, the smiles we derive from knowing that we heat our water without causing air pollution are priceless! Replacing a submersible well pump is not a involved task and relatively uncomplicated if you understand the basics about a well principles - like the placement of the pump, how the submersible pump operates and how it is installed in a well casing. An developed do it yourselfer with knowledge of electrical wiring and some basic plumbing skills is probably capable of replacing a submersible irrigation pump. This is not a step by step premise guide but rather an summary for a general insight to evaluate whether to do it yourself or hire a contractor. The savings on the cost of labor, if you do it yourself, will be about 50 - 60% of the total price of a contractor doing the job. The first factor in choosing whether to effort doing it yourself is how deep the well is and do you have a large enough lay down area to layout the pipe in your yard once you start pulling it out of the casing. If your well is 50' to 150' deep, I would propose doing it yourself if you are physically capable to continuously lift and pull about 40 to 70 pounds of weight and hold it in place for during the unblemished extraction of pump to keep from dropping it back into the well. To do this you will need at least one other person to help you pull out the pump and guide the extraction pipe away from the well as you are lifting it out.
The well casing in made of steel, iron or Pvc pipe regularly 3"or 4" inside diameter and this acts as a sleeve in which the pump housing, extraction pipe and wiring go down to reach the water level within this pipe casing. Attached to the submersible pump is the extraction pipe, regularly 1" to 1- ¼" flexible poly pipe and the electrical wiring which also runs into this casing to the depth of submersible pump in the well. The deeper the well, the heavier and more difficult it is to lift out. The weight of the pump assembly may need some rigging above the well casing to help lift and hold the pump assembly in place so it doesn't slip and drop back down into the well casing as you are pulling it out. Once you start pulling up of the pump you must continue the appeal until it is fully out of the casing. If you are doing this manually attach a rope beforehand to the top end of well cap so the other person can easier hold on to it and tie it off to something - a tree or fence, in between lifts if you need to take a break and stop lifting.
Room Heater Diagram
If you decide to replace the well pump yourself, here are some tips to remember. decide that the pump motor is bad by checking circuit breakers, switches and check that power is at the well head. If power is on at well head it is a good sign that the pump is broke. Turn off the power at the breaker panel, tag and lock it out for safety before you start exposing the well head. Clear the area colse to the well head, approx 6' to 8' diameter, of shrubs and plants so you have enough room to expose the pump outlet and electrical connections. Disconnect the extraction pipe and undo the wiring at the junction box near the top of the well. Loosen the bolts on top of the casing cover, this is a squeeze type of cover with a thick rubber ring that expands as tightened and contracts as loosened against the casing interior. Once loose, try to lift the cover, as you lift you will be getting an idea of how heavy the whole assembly is of which you have to lift out of the well.
Submersible Well Pump How to Replace
Now you are ready to lift the pump. Rubber gloves, protective clothing or coveralls should be worn as the pump piping may have an iron and silt residue on the covering and can be quite a messy job. Fasten a pull rope colse to the top of the well head for the other person to hold on and tie off if needed. Some wells may have a leader rope or cable already attached from traditional premise instead of relying on the extraction hose clamps and connection. The person who will do the actual pulling should stand directly above the well to lift the extraction piping right out of the casing and the other person should stay with the top end of well cap and guide it to where you lay it down as you pull. Make sure that the person guiding the end has a good grip on the end before you publish to get other grip. Continue until pump assembly is fully out of the casing and wash off the whole pump end so you read the specification tag of the pump.
Collect the information from the old pump - brand, model, Hp, voltage, phase, 110/220, rpm, 2 or 3 wire configuration, continuous duty and the pumps outlet size and extraction pipe size. Most residential submersible pumps are whether 2 wire or 3 wire configuration. The 2 wire type has 2 - 110v wires along with a case ground to pump housing. The 2 wire pump needs no controls. If it is a 3 wire pump you should replace the controls also.
Most submersible pump are two piece units bolted together to be one assembly and consists of the motor and the pump. You can just replace the motor or pump if you choose, but I would highly propose that you replace the whole assembly. After you have identified what type and size pump you have you may want to decide to upgrade your principles with a higher volume pump of keep the same configuration. For upgrading, you should caress a victualer or well contractor for recommendations to be compatible with your needs and piping sizes to which your pump feeds.
Installing the new pump assembly. Make an itemized list of new parts, controls, fittings or wiring as needed. If the existing wiring and flex pipe are in good health there is no need to replace them. To setup the new pump you will have to splice the galvanic wires together in a waterproof connection. Consult an electrician or well contractor to specify the power wire splice connector type and technique proper for well applications. Connect the pipe fittings and pipe clamps as directed in the manufacturer's instructions. Tape the power wires about every 2' for the whole distance to the flex pipe for ease in reinstallation of pump into casing. Turn the power to the pump on momentarily to check if it is working before inserting assembly into well. Turn the power breaker off and prepare to insert the pump back into the well again using 2 habitancy - one at the well chance lowering and feeding the pump down and the other person at the well head cover feeding the slack to you and to help hold back to prevent the pump from dropping fast down the casing.

What's in the Box Heater (standard color bright white)
Five Tips for Buying a Heater Choosing a space heater is a matter of sifting through a bewildering array of types, power ratings, and fuel sources. Let's break it down a little to make the process easier.
What are the different types of space heaters?
Radiant heaters emit infrared radiation that directly warms the objects in front of the heaters (rather than the surrounding air). If you only need heat by a desk or in a small section of a room, a radiant heater is quiet and will use very little power.
Forced-air heaters use a fan to blow air that has been warmed by metal or ceramic heating elements. A forced-air heater is appropriate for quickly heating up a small- to medium-sized room, but can be noisy.
Convection heaters draw cold air from the floor; the air is warmed by heating coils and emitted from the top of the heater. A convection heater is appropriate for quickly heating up a small- to medium-sized room, but also can be noisy.
Radiators work by heating oil enclosed in a reservoir, gradually heating the surrounding air. If heating speed isn't an issue, you might want to opt for a radiator. These are extremely quiet and effective--perfect for bedrooms.
Should I buy an electric or a combustion model? If you want a heater that will be available in emergencies, or that can heat areas larger than a single room, choose a "combustion" model--one that is powered by a gas or fuel like propane, kerosene, natural gas, or diesel. Which fuel type you choose depends largely on convenience and local availability. For example, diesel would be appropriate for a heater you take with you on long car trips.
How powerful a heater do I need? Heaters are rated by BTU, which stands for British Thermal Unit (the amount of heat needed to heat one pound of water by 1 degree F). To find out how many BTU you need:
Calculate the volume of the space to be heated by multiplying square footage by height.
Multiply that number by 4 if your insulation is poor, 3 if it's average, or 2 if it's good.
The resulting number is a ballpark figure for how many BTU you'll need.
Do space heaters cost a lot to operate? As a general rule, electric space heaters are more expensive to use than combustion models. To ensure energy efficiency, a thermostat is a must-have feature for any heater. For radiant heaters, models with a 360 degree heating surface can heat larger spaces. If you need a forced-air heater, models with ceramic elements tend to be more efficient.
Are space heaters a fire hazard? Space heaters are implicated in about 25,000 residential fires every year. To ensure proper safety, always follow the manufacturer's usage instructions and fill out the warranty card to receive informational updates from the manufacturer. Also, look for extra safety features such as an automatic shutoff switch that can shut down the unit if, for example, it gets upended. In addition, choose a model where the heating element is adequately enclosed within the unit.

Why would you need a stable heater? Is it more efficient?
It is best to use a stable heater in situations where you have a large room like a garage, outdoor patio, or a large workspace.
Room Heater Diagram
Most stable heaters are designed to heat a one car garage. galvanic stable heaters work best when used in this type of situation because you don't need to worry about venting any propane fumes or worrying about the charge of natural gas. galvanic heat is much more efficient, for example galvanic heating uses 100% of the electricity and turns it into heat. Propane gas uses 80% of the fuel for heat and the other 20% is a byproduct of the fuel. When using propane gas or natural gas you are giving off a byproduct from the fossil fuels, where as galvanic heat does not give off any byproducts. galvanic heaters are also easier to operate by production use of all the electricity that is given to the unit to heat. When you turn down the heat you are turning down the whole of electricity you use.
How to setup a carport Heater
Electric heaters can be mounted in any ways therefore rescue you space in your workplace or garage. You are not using a fuel that needs to be supplanted and rescue that time it takes to refill a tank or fuel line. An galvanic heater does not need to run with a fossil fuel and therefore never gets build up and give you a longer living heater. Keep in mind how large your stable is and how many Btu's of heat you will need to adequately heat your garage. Too much is not all the time good, you can over use the unit and end up spending more electricity than you want to. all the time try to get the excellent fit. Also, galvanic stable heaters feature overheat safety if you unit ever gets too warm it will shut off automatically.
A stable heater is usually not too big and they come easily ready with mounting kits so that the unit is out of your way, rescue you space.
You can mount a stable heater to a ceiling or a wall depending on your situation. This makes retention your free space a breeze because you can actually mount it and it is out of your way, not to mention retention you warm and you don't even need to think about it.
Most stable heaters are mounted on the ceiling as seen below. Some models need to be wired into your electrical by an electrician or trained professional.
There are other models that are easy to mount and plug in, and then you are ready to go.
All electrical stable heaters that we carry are thermostatically controlled and can we wired to a thermostat on the wall if desired. We have added a few pictures of stable heaters that are mounted already to show you the functionality of these units.
Do remember when you are mounting the unit there are minimum specifications on how close the units can be mounted to a wall or any objects. The distance of the space is mentioned in the hand-operated and should be followed strictly to enhance efficiency of the unit.

Energy Efficiency Everyday Hunter ceiling fans are designed for energy efficiency everyday, which means they get better performance using less energy. Other ceiling fans may claim efficiency with low-wattage motors, but they move little air. Competitors also compromise on blade pitch and blade surface area, which makes a fan even less efficient. Thankfully, Hunter ceiling fans harmonize precision craftwork with a one-of-a-kind motor for air movement.
Exclusive WhisperWind Motor The WhisperWind motor found in the Westover Four Seasons Heater Fan Fan delivers ultra-powerful air movement with whisper-quiet performance, so you get the power you want--without the noise you don't.
Like all Hunter motors, the WhisperWind motor features copper wiring that has a balanced temperature rise in each winding. This eliminates hot spots for increased motor reliability and longevity. Additionally, the motor utilizes precision-engineered large and small ball bearings that provide minimal resistance and friction for virtually noise-free operation. And for even greater efficiency, the motor features an internal impeller that facilitates air circulation to keep the motor cool and to ensure long life.
Combined, these exclusive Hunter motor technologies result in 15% improved performance, 20% longer life, 20% less noise, and up to 47% savings on energy costs.
700-Watt Illumi-Heat Lighting Fixture The Westover is unique among ceiling fans in that it features a 700-watt Illumi-Heat Lighting Fixture and PTC ceramic heating element that can keep your home feeling cozy during colder months. The aerodynamic design directs heat downward, and the fan offers three-speed downdraft and updraft options. Also, the blades help circulate heat evenly throughout a room, helping to prevent cold spots and to lengthen the time between each heat cycle.
Savings Without Sacrifice In the summer, use this unique fan conventionally to cut back on air conditioning--without sacrificing comfort. When it gets cold, make the switch to heat, so you can stay warm at a lower thermostat setting. Ideal for adding comfort to a bedroom or family room, the Westover may also act as the sole means of cooling and heating a space year-round. Either way, this fan is sure to help you save on energy bills all year long.
Durable Fan is Easy to Install and Operate Designed with homeowners in mind, this fan features Hunter's patented EZ Hang Mounting System, which makes installation simple and safe. The Westover installs just like a standard ceiling fan with no dedicated circuit required. For further convenience, the fan can be mounted two different ways--in a standard or angled position--for strong, Wobble-Free performance.
Made to perform beautifully for years to come, the Westover features an integrated 120-watt bowl light fixture that uses three 40-watt candelabra bulbs (included). A remote control is also included for separate operation of light, heat, and fan functions.
